Live it up in the famous Irish pubs found throughout this charming city while listening to traditional folk music. Eyre Square is the hub for excellent shopping, restaurants and art galleries, but is also where you’ll find a bust of the US President John F Kennedy. Galway Cathedral and the City Museum complete the lineup of must-sees here.

Day 12-16 Westport
Walking through the gardens at the Westport House is one of the most rewarding things to do in the entire city. The Clew Bay Heritage Centre is also well worth a stop. Just a short ferry ride away from the city you’ll find Rockfleet Castle and Clare Island, the place find out more about the pirate queen Grace O‘Malley.
