Overlook the Himalayas from one of India’s most northerly hill stations. Its historic role as a trading centre continues to this day and this busy bazaar town teems with activity. Watched over by the imposing mountain peak of Khangchendzonga and bisected by the fast-flowing Teesta River, its natural setting is also a draw.

Day 9-11 Pemayangtse
Meditate in the peaceful setting of the monastery of Pemayangtse, an important palce of Buddhist pilgrimage as well as a beautiful example of Sikkim art and architecture. The “Perfect Sublime Lotus” was founded in the 17th Century.
