It’s only a short ride down to the city’s port, Piraeus, where you can catch a ferry to the Greek Islands.

Drink in the view in what’s considered one of Greece’s most stunning lcoations. Day 9-11 Rhodes
Travel to this city to see with your own eyes the site of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World: the Colossus of Rhodes. Destroyed in an earthquake over 2000 years ago, there are plans afoot to rebuild it. In the meantime, check out the mediaeval Street of the Knights and the Palace of the Grand Masters, once a Turkish prison.

Day 12-15 Antalya
Enjoy the largest of the resorts on Turkey’s Riviera,. reinvented from an ancient port city into a modern metropolitan resort complete with hotels to suit all budgets, enticing beaches and exciting recreational activities that take advantage of the favourable climate. The area is also known for its delicious food.

Day 16-18 Cappadocia
Feast your eyes upon what must be one of the most unusual landscapes on the planet. The fairy chimneys and rock-hewn caves of Cappadocia beg to be explored: it’s you who’ll choose whether to do so on foot, by car or by hot air balloon. Hidden underground cities and frescoed churches complete the line-up of attractions in one of Central Turkey’s most rewarding areas.
