France: City of Love to the Riviera
Day 1-4 Paris
Ramp up the romance with a visit to the City of Love. Its sights are world class: the iconic Eiffel Tower, the busy Champs- Élysées, Notre dame and Sacre Coeur cathedrals and its many renowned museums, galleries and department stores. Nearby, the Palace of Versailles offers a glimpse into the workings of the 17th century Royal Court, an opulent château fit for a King – for a while, at least.

Day 5-8 Dijon
Wander amongst the beautiful architecture of this city, which ranges from art deco to Gothic. When visiting in autumn, make sure to check out the gastronomic fair, but be sure to take a vineyard tour no matter what time of year. Also, stop by the Musée des Beaux-Arts to admire some of the most beautiful art in the region.

Day 9-11 Avignon
Explore the medieval stone ramparts that surround the centre of this city and the bridge which spans the River Rhone. This place gained fame because it was home to Catholic popes between the years of 1309 to 1377, though children will know its famous song, Sur le Pont d’Avignon from their French classes, a tune that’s been around since the 15th Century.
