Day 5-8 Pucon
Journey to the base of the snow-capped Villarrica volcano to the delightful town of Pucón. Despite its location in central Chile, it has a Germanic feel, and there are no shortage of places serving a decent apfel strudel along with your coffee..The town has good access to hiking trails, whitewater rafting, kayaking and other water spots in summer, and skiing and snowboarding in winter on the slopes of that active volcano.

Day 9-11 San Martin de los Andes
Surround yourself by some of Patagonia’s most dramatic scenery. Nestled at the foot of the Andes Mountains, in winter San Martin de los Andes is a buzzing ski and snowboarding resort. In summer, the place attracts a different crowd, drawn this time by activities such as bird watching, kayaking, whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, golf and horseback riding.
