An Overview of Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire

Deep in the heart of England’s bucolic countryside – Hampshire to be precise – lies a Georgian manor house that’s now a Four Seasons hotel. This delightful property invokes times past, not least because the Basingstoke Canal runs through its grounds. The land was acquired by King Henry VIII in 1539 though the spectacular historic façade of what was the first manor house at Dogmersfield Park dates back to the early 18th century. Much of the hotel was destroyed in a fire in the 1980s, but the restored hotel and its beautiful interiors are in keeping with its original frontage. From the moment you proceed up the long drive to this gorgeous property, you realise you’re in for a real treat. Elegant rooms and the usual Four Seasons quality when it comes to amenities make this a smart choice.

Why We Love Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire

Even older than the house is the delightful Walled Garden which was laid out in the 16th century. Two dovecotes are an indicator of the original owner’s wealth and today’s beautiful plants and flowers make this a nature lover’s paradise and a popular choice for a wedding ceremony or vow renewal.
